Hulk Hogan’s Son Wants Out of Solitary Confinement

Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Bollea, is serving eight months in jail after pleading no contest to causing a crash that seriously injured his friend. Because he’s too young to join the jail’s general population, he is being held in solitary confinement at the Pinellas County Jail’s medical ward.

His lawyers said in a motion filed Friday that the situation is giving him “unbearable anxiety”, which he says results from spending up to 17 hours a day alone in his cell without access to amenities like educational programs.

They asked a judge to consider alternatives like releasing him with ankle monitoring until his 18th birthday or moving him to the jail’s minimum-security section. For once, it sounds like a celebrity advantage is not being used. This is a reasonable claim and should be addressed fairly by the courts. It is about his age.

Nick doesn’t deserve this. Yes punished but not like this…He’s a kid and did a dumb thing. His young and dumb stage of life, we all go through it..John and him were friends, John was not nieve to Nick’s driving habits. To some, Nick seems to not show regret, who are we to say how someone feels. I’ve followed this story since it happened, it happened just blocks from my house and I remember the sirens of that evening…and I knew someone was severly hurt.
Poor Nick some can’t say …probably due to jealousy of his plush life style and the benefits he’s grown up with, but…he’s a kid, this is all on him, not how lucky he was growing up…he made a mistake…and treating him like this, is real damaging mentally. He has to find a way to forgive himself to actually go on with life..
He should be taken out of the situation, if he must serve the sentence. No one can punish him, like he is punishing himself, with his mind, which, no one can see…Let him go home and come back when he is an adult..if he must serve this sentence. I’m still a beleiver, that he was a minor and should of been slapped on the hand or served some time in a kid jail(so to speak). There are many minors doing deliberate thing and not being punished properly…this was not deliberate!
This is all permanent..it can’t be taken back…Don’t permanently damage a young man that can do possitive things through his personal experiences.
